RainboWelcome: Our new study on the situation of LGBTQI+ refugees in Europe

An important study

We are pleased to present the RainboWelcome study on the reception of LGBTQIA+ refugees in Europe.

This study provides an overview and critical analysis of current regulatory frameworks and procedures related to protection and asylum claims based on sexual orientation or gender identity.

With the RainboWelcome project, we and our partners intend to provide useful guidance to various organisations and the professionals working in them. Therefore, we are creating different tools that will be made available in different languages, for everyone and free of charge, on the project website.

The study is available in English, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and Catalan below:

The RainboWelcome project is co-funded by the European Rights Equality and Citizenship (REC) programme and co-managed by Pour La Solidarité-PLS, Le Refuge Bruxelles (BE), Associació Acathi (SP), La Fondation Le Refuge (FR) and the Croce Rossa Italiana – Italian Red Cross (IT).
